About Us

Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Paul S. Gott and his wife "Minky" are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver to you the best service in the industry.

Paul studied Interior Decorating and Design at Johnson & Wales College in Providence, RI.

He apprenticed to his brother Carl for many years, where he learned the intricacies of Interior Painting, Wallpapering and Color Selection.

Since the early 1970's, Paul has also been a volunteer to the "Quick Build" program of the Massachusetts & Connecticut Regional Building Committee's of Jehovah's Witnesses.

A consultant to his parents business, Colonial Interiors, since 1974.

Paul has been a Hunter Douglas window fashions Priority Dealer since 1986.

Minky has always had a "knack" for decorating. She is often consulted for ideas and suggestions with regard to adding impact and flair to an otherwise boring or bland room design.

Both Paul and Minky continue to keep abreast of current trends by attending seminars & trade shows.

There is a long family tradition of decorators in the Gott Family.

  • (1890's) Another great-grandfather, Fred T. Gott, was also a well known "painter, paperhanger and kalsominer", in the Boston area during the late 19th century.

  • (1970's) Paul's parent's, Fred & Jane Gott, have operated a successful Interior Decorating company for many years.

  • (1980's) Brother Carl owns a Painting and Wallpapering business where the Gott brothers worked together for 20 years.
